Inspect compress after each use to ensure no damage has occurred to the compress. You may rewarm the compress 3 to 6 times per day, following the directions above each time. Once at desired temperature, apply the covered compress gently on the eye area for 5-10 minutes. If necessary, reheat for an additional 5 second interval and test temperature again until desired temperature is reached however, do not exceed 20 seconds total heating time per use. Test temperature on the back of your hand or other body part to determine if the compress is too hot before use. Place covered compress in microwave oven for 10 seconds on high. Insert compress completely inside the cover. Wash the compress cover with soap and warm water and allow to dry before use. Inspect the warming compress before use to ensure no damaged has occurred to the compress. Please seek medical attention if your condition worsens, there is a possible infection, or other symptoms develop.
